Today is 4-H National Youth Science Day, and to celebrate we are going to learn all about rockets! Join Melessa Wiesehan from the Purdue Extension Office and Miss Annie to learn how rockets can help rescue people during emergency situations such as natural disasters. Children attending will get to work in teams to build rockets with common supplies and then launch them to complete a storm survival scenario. We'll all have a lot of fun, and learn some really interesting things too! All supplies are provided. Space is limited, so please register.

It's that time again for another amazing Teen Lock-In. In order to celebrate the scary month of October the theme is Zombies Vs. Humans. Teens will be able to pick-up permission slips on October 1st. The lock-in will start at 8 p.m. and end at 8 a.m. the next day. Parents are asked to be there to pick up their teen by 8 a.m. Permission slips must be returned in order for the teen to be registered. There will be plenty of activities to keep your teen entertained such as, zombies and humans tag, Marco Polo Zombie Style, Brain Eating contest, Musical Chairs of Death, and so much more. Please make sure to come dressed as a Zombie, bring extra clothes in case you want to get comfortable later, pillow and blanket. Food and drinks will be provided. Come out preparing to have fun and stay up late.
